Component: com.avoka.livecycle.Migration 1.0

Migration Service

Migration: The Migration Service is able to query and update LiveCycle's installed DSC components. This is extremely useful when migrating processes from a Development version of LiveCycle to a Production box. While LCA files are an extremely useful way of migrating the DSC components, LCAs cannot transfer any configuration of them. Without this service DSC configuration must always be done manually, introducing the possibility of mistakes and omissions.

Operation Title: Migrate DSC Configurations   (migrateConfiguration)

Migrate DSC Configurations: Migrate the configurations for any component service on one instance of LCES and migrate it to another instance of LCES.

Input Parameter Type Description Editor
Endpoint java.lang.String Endpoint URL (e.g. "jnp://lces-server:1099").  
Protocol java.lang.String Protocol (e.g. "EJB").  
Server Type java.lang.String Server Type (e.g. "JBoss").  
Username java.lang.String Username of super user (e.g. "administrator").  
Password java.lang.String Password of super user (e.g. "password").  
Endpoint java.lang.String Endpoint URL (e.g. "jnp://lces-server2:1099").  
Protocol java.lang.String Protocol (e.g. "EJB").  
Server Type java.lang.String Server Type (e.g. "JBoss").  
Username java.lang.String Username of super user (e.g. "administrator").
